Windows Update Error 0x8DDD0004 - WTF?

I've been getting this error on one of my servers and it's been driving me nuts. If you run a Google on it, you'll see that most people are talking about reinstalling the ActiveX component, removing corrupted downloads, or what not. None of those suggestions worked for me. Nothing! After about 1 week of searching I finally stumbled across this Microsoft KB article that deals with ActiveX controls failing in IE. A quick little registry update later and everything is back up and running. Woo Hoo!

Woo Hoo Woo Hoo!! :D It took me 9 unsuccessful months to find a fix for this.  WTF Mike, MS might as well do a redirect from their all-enlightening official 'fix' (http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/showarticle.aspx?articleid=36&ln=en&IsMu=False) here.  Have a good one this weekend!
