As usual, things have been crazy busy. One of the big things I’ve been working on over the last number of months, is a project called CntrStg (pronounced CenterStage). We recently had a big press release for CntrStg. It was great to finally get that out the door and have people talking about it.
Unfortunately, shortly after that announcement went out on the wire, I somehow managed to fall and break my thumb. If that wasn’t bad enough, I actually broke the thumb on my right hand. Being right handed, this has been nothing short of a challenge. The simple things in life are no longer simple. For example, buttoning up your pants, cracking an egg, and even typing, are all extremely hard tasks for me now. They’re not impossible, just really hard to do with my left hand.
Today I met with my doctor and had a custom moulded splint made. It offers way more support than the temporary fibreglass one I had on before. I’ll have lots of time to get use to this thing because I have to wear it for the next 6 weeks! All is not lost, I did get this really cool parting gift – digital copies of my x-rays. So I figured I would share it with everyone! It’s jus plain crazy that something so small could hurt so much!!
